Accommodation

The Medieval Bedroom has a king-size double bed and luxury en-suite shower room. This double aspect room has views over the garden and surrounding countryside. The central heating has individual controls and there are tea/coffee making facilities provided (with an assortment of Indian, Chinese, fruit and herbal teas), together with filtered water, hairdryer and Freeview TV. Please be aware that though there is good head height in this room, there are exposed beams.

The second double bedroom has a super-king double bed that also divides into twin beds. It has its own private adjacent shower room. This room is also double aspect with wonderful views and has independent central heating controls. Full beverage making facilities with assorted teas and coffee are provided, together with filtered water, hairdryer and Freeview TV.

A choice of Full English or Continental breakfast, sourced locally together with our homemade preserves, is served in the spacious kitchen/ dining room.

There are various pubs and restaurants a short drive away and Jane can sometimes be persuaded to provide an evening meal!

Please feel free to relax in the various seating areas throughout the house or watch television/dvd in the cosy sitting room. Wander around the garden on a summer’s evening - the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine while sitting on the hill watching the cows return from milking, or simply to gaze at the ever-changing light as the evening sun sets on the surrounding countryside.
